Our story began in 1982 when Dr. Seymour Goldberg and his wife, Mrs. Tikva Goldberg, embarked on a journey to create a pediatric practice that would embody their shared dream of caring for children of all ages with the philosophy of "caring for your child as if they were their own." After moving from New York, where they raised their five children in a humble one-bedroom apartment alongside their loyal dog Ginger, the Goldbergs started the practice from scratch, building it one patient at a time.
With resilience, perseverance, patience, and an unwavering dedication to hard work, Dr. Seymour Goldberg and Mrs. Tikva Goldberg laid the foundation for what Seymour H. Goldberg MD PA Pediatrics DPC, is today. As a team, they possessed all the necessary qualities to succeed, and failure was never an option.
Their son, Dr. Ori Goldberg, was inspired by his father's work from a young age. At just seven years old, he began rounding at the hospital with his dad, beaming with pride, not yet knowing that he would one day care for the same families his father served. This early exposure ignited a passion for pediatrics that would guide him throughout his life.

Dr. Ori Goldberg
After graduating from The University of Texas at Austin in 1994, Ori Goldberg joined the military as a paratrooper for two and a half years, followed by two years of traveling and working around the world. With a wealth of life experience, he began his medical education at the Universidad de Autonoma de Guadalajara and completed the Fifth Pathway Program at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. It was during this time that he met his future wife, Dr. Cruz-Goldberg, who hails from Puerto Rico.
In 2000, Ori Goldberg began his Pediatric Residency at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, New York. As he neared the end of his residency, he welcomed his son into the world, and shortly thereafter, the family relocated to Houston, where Ori fulfilled his lifelong dream of working alongside his father. In 2012, Ori's wife gifted him with an amazing daughter, further enriching his life and deepening his understanding of the joys and challenges of parenthood.
Today, Ori Goldberg celebrates 20 years of working in the incredible field of pediatrics and eagerly looks forward to the next twenty. He carries with him the wisdom imparted by his father, who always emphasized the importance of treating other people's children as if they were one's own and the necessity of genuinely caring for each and every patient.

We are honored to serve families from all across Houston and the surrounding areas, some traveling from as far as 1 ½ to 2 hours away to receive our care. This level of commitment and dedication is something we cherish and never take for granted.
As we continue to grow and evolve, our commitment to providing exceptional, personalized pediatric care remains at the heart of everything we do. We are excited to embrace the future of pediatric medicine to our addition of the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model, which will enable us to enhance the patient experience and strengthen the bonds between our practice and the families we serve.
